SHOW CAUSE NOTICE.
In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 4-A read with Sub-Rule (3) of Rule 5
of the Sindh Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1973, 1, Chief Secretary, Sindh as
an Authorized Officer:-
(a) am of the opinion that in view of the allegations of misconduct as per details
given below, there are sufficient grounds that disciplinary action be taken
against you under the said rules; and
(b) Have decided that it is not necessary to have an enquiry conducted through
an Inquiry Officer or an Inquiry Committee.

I, therefore, by this Notice inform you, that on the grounds mentioned below, it
is proposed to impose on you the penalties described in Rule 4 of the said Rules. You are
accordingly called upon to Show Cause why the proposed action should not be taken against
you.
Your reply to this Show-Cause notice should reach the undersigned within 14
days from the date of receipt of this notice failing which ex-parte decision will be taken against
you under the Sindh Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1973. You may also
intimate whether you would like to be heard in person.

The details of your alleged misconduct are as under:
"That you have uploaded a video clip on social media during the
official timings in the premises of school leveling false/fabricated
allegations against the Department in violation of Sindh Civil
Servants Conduct Rules and policy regarding the face verification
system of attendance"
Such an act on your part tantamounts to misconduct and dereliction in duty.
