The Hisense A10's main display measures 6.13 inches diagonally and is designed for reading, working with documents, and other tasks where the benefits of e-paper are particularly noticeable. If needed, the user can install a separate color LCD module on the back of the smartphone. Sold separately, this module transforms the A10 into a standard smartphone for managing photos, social media, videos, and other content. Switching between E Ink and LCD modes will be possible in three ways: using the physical Ink Smart Key, quick settings, or a dedicated button in the Quick Ball. The main E Ink display is controlled by the T2000 TCON controller, which independently manages refresh rates and panel behavior. A dedicated high-refresh rate mode is also included, reducing lag and image retention. The smartphone is powered by a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm QCM6690 (Dragonwing Q-6690) chip. This processor is designed for everyday tasks and E Ink graphics, rather than demanding games. The device runs Android 16. Additional features include NFC, an IR blaster for controlling home appliances, magnetic wireless charging, app cloning, and call recording. Sales of the Hisense A10 in China are scheduled to begin on August 28, 2026. An international release has not yet been confirmed.
