EA SPORTS FC 27 will be released on September 25, 2026

The game is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 25, 2026, with Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition purchasers getting seven days early access starting September 18, 2026. Three versions are available for pre-order: the Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition with early access and Ultimate Team bonuses, and the Premium Edition with the full set of additional content and in-game currency. EA SPORTS FC 27 features Dual Entitlement, allowing owners of previous-generation console copies to upgrade to the current-gen version of the game for free within the same ecosystem. A PlayStation 4 purchase entitles you to the PlayStation 5 digital version, while an Xbox One purchase entitles you to the Xbox Series X|S version. This offer applies to both digital and physical copies, but upgrading from disc-based versions requires a console with a disc drive, such as the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. This feature is available for all three editions of the game, but cross-system upgrades, such as from PlayStation 4 to Xbox Series X|S, are not supported—upgrading is only possible within the same console brand. In Football Ultimate Team, all purchased items, players, coins, FC points, stats, and leaderboard positions carry over between generations as long as you use the same EA Account and are part of the same platform family—that is, from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 and back, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S and back. However, in other modes, including Online Seasons, Co-op Seasons, Manager and Player Careers, and Clubs, progress is tied to the specific console and does not carry over across generations. Cross-platform play is based on a generational principle. If a user is using the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version, they will be able to find opponents and play with players on both current-generation consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) and previous-generation consoles. However, if a user is playing the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S version, matches will only be available with players using the current-generation versions, regardless of console brand. Content earned through pre-ordering on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One remains accessible when upgrading to the corresponding next-generation console using the same account, regardless of whether the user activated bonuses on the old console or immediately started playing on the new one. The editions are priced at $69.99 for the standard version, $99.99 for the expanded Ultimate Edition, and $149.99 for the premium Ultimate Plus Edition, which includes the maximum rewards pack and 10,000 in-game FC Points.
